Images on canvas have proven extremely popular recently for home and work environments alike.
The last few years have shown that canvas images are the latest concept in art. With the innovation of digital printing, its possible to have almost any image printed by dye-sublimation or inkjet to any format. Custom Frames have worked with a number of U.K. based canvas printing and retail companies, providing stretched images for Hotels, Shopping Centres, High Street outlets and Corporate sectors.
We are one of the few specialists who provide a canvas stretching service for non- standard size and large format work. Our staff will expertly make the canvas stretcher specifically to your canvas to allow for any stretch of the material as each type of canvas/material has it’s own characteristics. The stretchers come in three depths 20, 33, and 45 mm sections but it is possible for us to produce any thickness of stretcher if required. Images can be wrapped around the stretcher or have sharply defined white edges, this our expert staff carry out ensuring the exact tension is applied, all lines running straight and neatly folded corners. We then fit the correct hanger for the size of the image even providing security hangers if required.
Dye-sublimation printing is so light stable, some of our customers require their canvases to be displayed outdoors. Our special hardwood stretcher combined with using stainless steel and solid brass fixings are able to provide our clients with this unique service which allows them to hang their artwork on terraces, patios or to utilise these canvas products for promotional tools and to display their products and services. We also have a packaging service if you wish the canvases to be despatched from us directly to your customer. Also if the image is to be sent by air freight we can hermetically seal the canvas and even build a shipping crate. We will be pleased to discuss cost involved with this service.
